Jude Of Choc City

Warning! – If you’re not exactly tall or you are short, stop reading this now, or skip this story…abeg, for peace to reign.

If you’re still reading this, at least, I warned you o. No hate MIU OO! Here we go.

I’ve never liked short men. They seem to come with a lot of baggage. Some talk too much, or have complexes and self-esteem issues. Some beat their wives, others kill their dogs…and eat them. Nothing personal, but what’s to like about them?

Saint M.I of Choc City

But then M.I came along. He blazed the entertainment industry with his industrial poetry. He rapped straight into our soul, and we all fell for him. Short black boy giving Nigeria joy. He was short, but we couldn’t yab him because he was too good. Rap can cover a lot of things, you’ll be amazed at how that man looks handsome with his plenty money and entertaining voice. Short black boy became short black millionaire, and since we adore millionaires, the short black millionaire became short black idol, and I was seriously considering recommending him to the Vatican for sainthood. Saint M.I of Chocolate City. We love you.

Until he committed a mortal sin last week. The boy lied. And he had the temerity to say he did it for a friend. The friend being his oga at the top. Paul Okeugo, that igbo businessman and COO of Chocolate City whether by carelessness or by an unfortunate bout of big man syndrome, lost his car. Is that news? Not sure. His Mercedes Benz CLS was stolen, and all he did was call M.I for emotional support. M.I sef, instead of doing the honourable thing by telling his boss sorry, or buying him a new car, he took to social media to claim the misfortune. He lied to us and said his car was stolen. Short black liar! M.I why? All the love, the trust, and the understanding we have has been compromised because your oga at the top said one thing and you said another.

We don’t hate you, M.I, we still love you, but never again can you bank on we trusting you. You’ve told us a good lie, but lie na lie. Whether good, bad, or worse, the good books say, thou shall not lie!

So apologize M.I, and we might still make you St. Jude Of Choc City
